Thank you so much ladies for showing me round your lovely museum. Everyone was so friendly and as others have said, enthusiastic. I would have loved to have stayed longer. The lace was absolutely beautiful.

It was wonderful to see lace which had been made by my husbands ancestors, the Uprights.

Thank you again.

we visited your lovely museum on tuesday and both me, my husband and my kids loved it, the staff were fantastic, finding quiz sheets for the kids to complete, with a prize at the end of it, they were so lovely that one of the ladies who saw us in the town later that day asked the boys how they had got on.
Beautiful museum, lovely staff, thank you so much for the time you gave us

having detoured on our way to cornwall i called into the museum. i had picked up a leaflet at the bluewater craft show. the museum was a delight.i am studying for a city and guilds qualification and felt that this on would be good to visit.the laces were exsquite and i wished i had more time.the building is delightful and the rose window was lovely. to have someone add up my purchases using pen and paper was charming.to be able to purchase the books and equipement was really good. now all i need is to take away the enthusiasm to relearn this most gentle of crafts. would reckonmend this museum to others. thank you for giving me a lovely start to my holiday.

March 12, 2012. I had the privilege today to be shown round the Museum by Margaret. It is a wonderful place, dedicated to keeping this beautiful craft alive. The pieces of lace are breathtaking, and as a self-taught Honiton lacemaker, I am in awe that such beautiful things were made by such gifted people.

Margaret was very knowledgeable of the various items, and able to give me a lot of background and assistance. If you love Honiton lace, then do try to make the journey. You won’t be disappointed, but you will be inspired.
Thank you to the Trustees and Volunteers for all their work.

And Thank You, Margaret, for a wonderful morning.
